I wanna make a top down 2D stealth game (retro style)and did really a lot of research but it seems stealth games are not that common.

    What engine should I use?
    My demands are:
    • possible to import own sprites
    • no coding
    • import and show video
    • being able to hide from guards
    • guards have basic stealth game AI
This is what I came up with but I don't know what will work.
    • RPG Maker MV
    • GameBuilder Studio
    • Game Maker Studio
    • Stencyl
    • GDevelop
    • Game Salad
    Thanks for helping me out!!

Make a pc game with help of RPG Maker then use this tools are simple enough for a child, and powerful enough for a developer.

3D Stealth Games have a lot of different parts so you won't be able to make it with just one tool. You're going to need a set of free tools. For game development: sales@brsoftech.com

Hey, I also had some ideas to make 2d retro top down stealth game
I see one of your requirements is that you need to develop without coding
Well, I'm a programmer and I have an ease with scripts and C# IN Unity
if you'd like we can join and I'll do all the coding
if so, talk to me at: jvcmv.jvcmarcenes@gmail.com

I'm pretty sure stealth games are uncommon because of how much I suck at them. Nevertheless good luck!
My brother uses Game Maker for pretty much everything. I'm sure you can make it on there without issues.

You're gonna have to know some level of programming in order to create a video game especially a stealth game. The most important concept you'll use are triggers and events.

I highly recommend Game Maker for your cause. You won't have difficulties with that one
