I'm creating a new site that is designed to help gamers in their neverending struggle to find team-mates to play with for whatever game they want. Currently now we have have an invitation for early access to beta and I would welcome any feedback and encourage all to sign up and be a part of this. Here is some info, please check out the site!

Game Seeker Online is currently looking for gamers of all types to participate in their beta launch providing valuable feedback and usage data. We are an online service that is dedicated to the players. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive website that will address all the needs for gamers ranging from the casual gamer that may play once or twice a week to the aspiring or professional eSports player.

Game Seeker Online is going to change the way online gamers find teammates, teams, services (i.e. logo design, LAN events, team managers, etc.), and sponsors. We will have a revolutionary player matching service that will allow players to quickly and efficiently find other players that match their party’s needs. You will be able to select from a large set of criteria that is customizable and ever changing to adapt to the constant release of gaming titles and the challenges that all players meet. For the casual and avid gamer, you will be able to form your team in real time using quality search tools, aggregated data and instant messaging then easily transition to the game of your choice. The more serious players can utilize more comprehensive research system to ensure the player they are recruiting for their team fits their needs and shares their goals and values. No more searching for hours to form a group or raid only to find people that aren’t the same caliber or don’t know their roles in the group.

Our website will host four unique and customizable profiles for users to create and utilize. The profiles will include ones for a player, teams, service providers (such as graphic designers for team logos or developers for team websites), and a profile for industry sponsors so they may outline exactly what they are looking for in a professional team and will allow the individual teams to submit their (team) profiles as a resume.
We are looking to give every gamer the opportunity to find the right teammates for their favorite games. This will enhance the overall gaming experience for all and enable the building of a more cohesive online gaming community. Whether you’re the casual online gamer who’s just looking for a quality pick-up game or you’re the aspiring professional that has strict criteria in order to build your top tier team. Game Seeker Online will give all users the ability to realize their full potential and achieve their goals.

If you want to be a part of building the future of gaming and eSports, visit our website and sign up for early access to beta at:

    www.gameseekeronline.com

Questions, comments, feedback? Let us know on Twitter: @Game_Seeker

The games we have listed are just an example of the top games; we plan to support all that you do.
Game Seeker Online is also looking for eSports Teams and Companies to partner with, just follow us on Twitter and let us know to get more details!

My hobbies include hiking, camping, shooting, singing, writing, learning new things, teaching and much more.

I am a band and choral Music Educator who takes private lessons for composition. I have written from a small choral piece to a full orchestra to synthesized. I enjoy gaming but not as much as I once did, my passion solely lies in teaching and writing music. I wanted to branch out of my film score avenue and try my hand at video game music so here I am! Hit me up if you are interested.

When not working I'm usually volunteering with a community group or political organization. I run a breakfast program for my son's school, do website maintenance for a local kids organization, am president of a local riding association and help with Epilepsy Halton Peel Hamilton for their monthly support group meetings.

In my spare time (ha!) I like to play board games and got skating/swimming/cycling with my son.

I'm finishing up 13 years at BattleGoat Studios and have now established a contract with another local game development company so this is a transition period for me. I also have hopes of eventually working with some local board game designers to bring some physical board games to the digital realm.

I've been at RetroEpic as their brand manager for only about 4 months so I've been spending a lot of time reading up on mobile game marketing strategies. We're about 2 months away from releasing our first title to mobile and about 4 months to releasing our second (we're working on them semi-concurrently). Any advice any one wants to throw me in this regard is more than welcome! I'm also looking to network as much as possible with indie devs and people who love indie games :)

Hello, I am Jonathan, I develop games for android in my free time. I have completed two small games for android and I am working on another small puzzle game for android, using jMonkeyEngine.
For the future I have more ambitious game ideas and will probably seek help :)
I may also wand to have my day job in the "industry" at some point.

And yes my main interest is in game design although I know how to code.

Moved into a whole bunch of eLearning work including writing software for a VR suite and a whole bunch of uninteresting flash stuff. Then moved onto developing iOS/Android games for a local studio. Developed many iOS/Android/Web games including LEGO StarWars, Hero Factory, Ninjago, Chima and way more besides. Now looking to jump back into indie dev with my own game Tears of Avia.

I'm a twentysomething student from Finland who is learning to make indie games as a hobby. I started playing games on my father's old DOS-computers at an early age (my father worked as a system planner during the 90's) and soon grew an interest on anything interactive. Sports have always been the main hobby, but due a knee injury I'm now trying to broaden my "hobbyspectrum" to creative arts by making video games. I have a few years of experience from programming and I'm trying to widen my skills to cover other areas of gamedev.

Hello. By day I am a programmer for a gaming company in the casino industry. By night I am an enthusiastic hobbyist.

Lately I have programmed a lightweight linux frontend for MAME which I'm rather proud of:

    http://digital-minds-blog.blogspot.com/2014/10/another-sidetrack.html

and I am currently working on a remake of one of my favourite games as a kid:

    http://digital-minds-blog.blogspot.com/search/label/senseless soccer

I'n not sure if I REALLY belong here, because my projects are not really "Indie" but just stuff I love to do as a hobby to learn things and fulfil childhood fantasies ;) I do have over ten years experience in the industry (programming, not games) though, so maybe I can pop up here and there with some advice and opinions.

I'm also not beyond spending a little of my own money on a good artist to polish off even a hobby project. Maybe I'll find one here when the time comes!

    Cheers everyone.

Currently trying to work on a massive free ad campaign to gather in some attention, to very limited to no success on my behalf, it's a long struggle but I'm willing to do just that. It personally doesn't matter to me on the success or the failure of my objective, as long as I know I'm giving it a hot, then I'm perfectly fine.

    Style: RPG, Puzzle, Educational.

I am totally new to the Independent Developer scene & i still have a lot to learn, but i'm confident enough to attempt my first "masterpiece".
The main reason why I decided to travel the path of creation in relation to video games, is because as a player I was noticing the decline in challenge that games have to offer & I really Love a good challenge, the harder the better. After many years of throwing ideas around between family & friends I have finally decided to actually make a series of games that will have the level of challenge I sought as a player, hopefully others enjoy the pure joy of beating a really brutal challenge as much as I do. I also aspire to teach others & so I will be weaving real life science & facts into my games as seamlessly as possible, without overloading it & making it a droll experience for the player.

I am currently working on this series all by my lonesome, however i would like to hire a close-knit team for future titles. I am studying for a Diploma of Business to assist in gaining a small business loan to get me off the ground, although I am only going to use a loan as a last resort.

I hope I can help others during my time on this Forum & I would also like to say Thank You in advance to those who help me in that time also.

Hello, everyone. I'm an Industrial Engineering student on its last month before graduation and I've always been in love with video games and the gaming industry. This prompted me to join the only gaming studio in my entire region about a year ago and have since confirmed that I want to dedicate my life to this. I'm interested on the production and marketing sides of video game development, including everything that goes into that, and I've never had a job that I love this much.

At the studio, we're currently working on Mulaka: Origin Tribes, a game about an indigenous culture called the Tarahumara, and Hunter's Legacy, a 2D platform game inspired by the games that we played growing up. This last title is right now on Steam Greenlight and I'd appreciate all your feedback.

I joined the forum to be able to share experiences and learn from a community of people that love this medium. I'm always open to help anyone of you and chat about games.

    It's been a while, so I thought I'd re-introduce myself :)

I'm Gabriel, a Software Engineer at an incredibly exciting startup in London called Improbable, where we're building tech to let developers create complex, persistent virtual worlds at a scale never attempted before. You may have heard of Worlds Adrift, being made by Bossa Studios, the indie studio behind I Am Bread and Surgeon Simulator fame, and ION by Dean Hall, the creator of DayZ. We're planning to put this tech in the hands of as many developers as we can :)

Before Improbable I spent four years at Google Zürich doing, well, Google things. Before Google I founded Mystery Studio back in 2002, and was an active participant in this forum until we closed in 2011. In my free time I write technical things and non-technical things and more non-technical things, I pretend to be an actor, and I bake Italian cookies.

It's good to be closer to the game industry again, and see what crazy inventive ideas does the newest generation of indies can come up with :)
