I'm looking for some help with a retro-inspired 2D action platformer. I'm going for a retro feel, but not necessarily pixel-art.

I absolutely love these free tilesets: http://opengameart.org/content/omega-team, http://opengameart.org/content/more-nes-like-tiles, but they are far too low-resolution for what we want to do. I would be very interested if these could be reworked at a much higher resolution.

I also really like what this game, 20XX, is doing with their environments: http://store.steampowered.com/app/322110/
That's the closest I've seen to what I have in mind. There are also many modular assets of different sizes that really open up the possibilities/variations in level design rather than just a set of square tiles.

If you are interested in a project like this, please contact me with your rate/examples of your work for more information.
