In light of recent events as well as ongoing health problems SpriteAttack.com will close down it's activities indefinetly

After 20+ years and countless games [a lot of them with indies] it's time to call it quits and take it easy, get out the canvas and get back to painting oils and watercolors. It was a good time with some very pleasant highlights, great rewards and a lot of talented people I had the pleasure to work with.

You serious?! Kind of the end of an era when one of the most talented artists around here chucks in the towel.
    Ditto.

I just read your e-mail and then saw this.
That's very sad news, great talent you were (are), very much into the indie cause which is awesome. You made many of my title screens better!
Hope all goes well with your health and future endeavours.

"and get back to painting oils and watercolors" - Sounds like a plan. Would love to see some of that work. Good luck and I hope your health gets healthy soon. ;)

Hey, take it easy Chris. Enjoy that tropical paradise you live in. I'm with the others in this thread you've been an incredible asset to the indie developer community. Looking forward to seeing some of those new paintings

Thanks guys... just reached the limit of how often I can get screwed, not paid, stolen from and backstabbed... I will focus on my health and art from now on - and leave it to a gallery owner or two to rip me off... ;)

hey....since this is sort of a going away thread, can you take the time to post your top 3 games you're most proud of working on and if possible, your top 3 most popular games you worked on? I know the miniclip stuff was huge, but I don't know if you did any work on console games, etc.

As a parting shot, could you give some details of who has ripped you off? People like that need to be known about and avoided.

Ah, too bad. I was going to contact you for a qoute very soon. Good luck.

Could you please recommend one or two artists who could fill the void?

Hi guys... sorry for the delay... I took the long weekend off and got rid of the initial frustration with a pick axe and some hardcore gardening... Thanks a lot... and I will miss the indie crowd for sure...

@Desktop - It's just a long string of events and I can't name names until the matter is resolved or taken to the next level.

@JGO - yes... HeliAttack3 was one of the more successful and fun games to work on... and it would make the top 3 along with 'Adventures of Shuggy' coming to XBox this month and 'Samurai Soul Hunters' a DreamBuildPlay entry of 2007 [made the 10 finalists] but never got finished or released due to job and family issues of the team members.
