Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes:

The basic gist of my game idea would be a sim/RPG based on being in a rock band, from it's inception (finding band mates), to possibly playing sold out arenas (there would be "lose" conditions along the way. This isn't a cake walk!). There would be possibilities of the band breaking up, or being set back by having to replace members (which would include "tryouts"), finding management, record labels, agents, trying to fill venues, dealing with booking, etc... The music itself would not be the focal point. It would focus more on all other aspects of being in a band (I don't think we need another "Rock Band" game), and the interactions therein. It would include a large cast (in upwards of 200+ possible characters to choose from), and I think it would be coolest in the 16 bit Final Fantasy/Chrono Trigger graphical look. I have many other ideas to go with it (none of which are set in stone by any means. Ideas are welcome.), but that's the basics of it.

I would attempt to do this on my own, but there's a few problems: I suck at anything involving artwork, and I haven't programmed anything in almost 20 years, and honestly have no desire to delve into programming again.

If this sounds like an interesting idea to anyone, hit me up and we can discuss it more. If not, have a nice day, and thanks for taking the time to check it out!
