Hey there, this might be a longshot but hopefully worth the try!

We’re two brothers from Gothenburg, Sweden currently developing our first “real” game using Unity engine and we’re looking for someone who’s familiar with pixel art sprite animations and passionate about video games. We’ve got pretty much everything covered but could really use the help with sprites and animations. Your location isn’t important as we can work something out over Skype, Trello, Slack etc.

We’re trying to keep a lot of the details such as story, gameplay and game mechanics a secret for now as this game is something we really believe in and want to make sure is a surprise for as many people as possible when published. We can reveal that the game is a mix of 2d pixel art and modern lights and particle techniques. It can be described as a sidescroller with metroidvania elements (sorry for an overused term). This is a large-scaled indie game so we’re hoping to find someone who’d be in this for the long run.

As of right now we’re doing this on our spare time from work and university which means our budget is tight. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate, creative and willing to put a lot of hours in. Because of our budget your work will have to be unpaid but once the game is published you will receive a set amount of the revenues and will be discussed amongst us.

Our main goal is to publish this game and hopefully succeed. However, there are no guarantees but either way this is a great opportunity to grow as a developer and will be a great experience whatever outcome.

Targeted release date is late 2020 and we’re currently developing for PC and more to come.

If you have any questions or are interested please email us at developerzink@gmail.com.

Please write a little bit about yourself and attach some of your previous work. We look forward to hearing from you.
