Question: Why do you have an automatic log out for inactivity? I've noticed it for years now and it's very inconvenient when I have to step away from the computer for a time (or reading an extremely long post/thread) and find myself automatically logged out and all the notices of new thread posts are gone upon re-logging in.

...Just bringing this up since it happened to me a moment ago. C:

    It's kinda freaking me out!

Also, there's a de-emphasis on who is saying what--the old site used to give the poster's name more screen realistate, I kind of liked that.

I don't think this is a recent change. Your user session times out after a period of inactivity to clear up resources server side, it also affects the "who's online" which is less important. I've upped the timeout from 30m to 1h. Hope this helps a bit. You can always check the "remember me' box near the login so it's easy to log back in.

I've increased the size of the username in the post bit.

Is the "remember me" button going to work sometime soon, or is that just me?

Rest of the update looks ok. I would prefer a bit more contrast I think.

there is a huge space between the end of the post and the poster signature. Is it possible to decrease the space?

New skin looks good, I like it!

But I can't figure out how to add images in posts anymore? I picked the Advanced mode but still can't figure it out

I found this an issue too. For Google Chrome there is the StyleBot extension that you can use fortunately to add some contrast. I solved it by adding a thick purple border for unread messages but can't show a screenshot beacuase of the above image issue

Made the link text darker, that seems to be helping with the contrast a little and making the posters username a little more visible.

For images, just click the icon with the tree on it. To embed videos, hit the filmstrip and for links, hit the one of the world. They're available in Quick Reply and in Advanced mode. You can also use BB Code if you prefer.

And another neat feature: hit the balloon with the + sign on all the posts you want to reply to and hit "Reply to Thread" at the bottom to quote multiple people at once.

I don't think that Teal Blue is quite broadcast safe--it's a bit bleedy on my monitor.

Other than the burning ultra light blue on the index pages, it's looking good. Impressive work!

Looks a lot better now (with those contrast/color tweaks). Kinda hate the smilies though.
