Haha, good stuff. Looks like you'll be entering the self-help market soon as well ;-)

I keep telling you you should just release 2 of your own games every month and you wouldn't need to affiliate.

Question is what have your website's sales done? I'm guessing they've stayed relatively unchanged or even increased slightly while portal revenue simply grew faster over time.
Na I find self-help garbage to be the exact opposite of my nose to the grindstone mentality.

Web revenue is a bit lower actually, but portal revenue more than made up for it.

As for that self-help stuff, I couldn't agree more with Brian. Just do your work and stop being a mamma's boy (or girl).

The mirror broke! That's seven years of bad luck! Oh no!

Also, my hand is lacerated. Curse your motivational speaking! I was doing better when I was drinking pureed vegetable juice and getting extra college degrees while brushing my teeth.

I agree though. For all people complain about how things have changed, I still don't see any real barriers to "making it" except for self-imposed ones. The only difference is, it's probably a lot harder to "make it" with crappy half-baked products and half-arsed efforts than it used to be. The gold-rush might be over, but that's all well and good.
