    Hey everyone! Just wanted to share some information about a free online game jam / games course taking place over two weeks in August that might be of interest to beginner developers and anyone wanting to explore an awesome new game engine. :)

    Side Quest with Core - Free two week online games development course

    Dates: 17th August 2020 - 28th August 2020


    Join Into Games and Manticore Games for Side Quest with Core - a free two week game development course. The folks over at Manticore Games will teach you the fundamentals of game development using the brand new development tool Core Engine. They’ll show you professional game development skills used in the industry today, as well as help you build your very own online multiplayer shooter.

    Join our Twitch stream every day at 3pm BST to hear from industry experts on game development fundamentals like level design, environment art, and multiplayer, equipping you with the skills necessary to develop your own games from scratch.

    Requirements:
    • Be at least 13 years of age at the start of the program.
    • Have access to a Windows PC that meets Core’s minimum requirements.
    • You must be friendly, willing to learn, and open to collaboration with others!
    Who can apply:

    Side Quest is open to anyone over the age of 13. Side Quest with Core is open to entrants from all over the world - even if you can’t make the 3pm BST streams they will be available recorded on the Side Quest Twitch channel for catch-up.
