The site has been doing weird things lately. Now I'm getting nothing but a server message. Anyone have any info what's going on?

Yes, the server was hacked. Mark said so himself on the Max3D discussion group.

    Oh crap. This sucks...

Looks like it's still down (at least the community part). Hopefully they get things recovered.

That's odd - BlitzResearch (whoever that really is) on Twitter said it was due to a hard drive failure. HERE.

It would be nice to see a link to this. If the sites have been hacked then people might want to do some house-cleaning of passwords and the like.

Edit: Doh... I didn't see that this was a zombie'd thread. At least that means there's no reason to assume any hacking.

Considering that the sites went down early in the morning NZ time (I was posting a forum reply at the time) and the Twitter notification didn't come until the UK morning time, I think the Twitter accounts are run by the guy in the UK (Simon?) -- I also believe that he deals with the web stuff in general.

I'm missing it. Gotta game to post in the showcase! Hope they can fix it soon and it's not too serious. Been a lot of hacking going on recently.
