    Hey there!

My team is looking for an enthusiastic 2D pixel artist to work for us in the upcoming 2-3 months. We have an actual, modern, politically correct yet mind-blowing game idea but unfortunately the team doesn't have a proper 2D artist. I don't want to go in details about the game, it's purpose and it's mechanics on the open web, so I'll only tell just a little about it.

Like I said the game would guide through in one of our world's current problem, but it would approach it from 2 different perspectives. One of the perspectives would be an RTS style game and the other one would be from an RPG angle. Both of the different genres would be in the same game as 2 different campaigns. Both campaign would have different outcomes according to how the player made his/her choices throughout the game. The overall game time would be 1-2 hours at max in both game modes, but the game itself doesn't need more than that. The game's style art wise would be a minimal, pixel art looking game, to keep the project simple and clean (since the moral of the story is much more important than the game itself, and pixel art looks cool and hip to be honest).

    About our team:

As a team, we started developing games 2 years ago, but have never finished any of them due to too vast ideas which would consume a lot of resources and time and since all 3 of us are either studying at universities or working (or both), after a time we decided to go slow on these projects and only start working on them real-time if we have the resources and time for it. All this led us to think about a game which might be able to win awards due to the fact, that the topic of the game is really a burning question nowadays. Our team consists of 3 people right now:
    • Oliver, who is responsible for the music, story and dramaturgical side of it
    • Daniel, who is responsible for the sound engineering, sound producing and game mechanics
    • and me, Zsombor who is responsible for the programming, level design and basically everything else depending on what the game needs.
Right now we are in need of a 2D pixel artist, who is willing to put the effort in making an original style for the game and is enthusiastic enough not to give up before the game is finished. Our plan is to develop the game to a stage where it can be shown to public on crowdfunding sites in at least 2-3 months. If everything goes as planned this deadline is achievable since the game doesn't need a lot of sprites to start with, but what needs to be done, has to look pretty neat. The artist would get 15% of the crowdfunding profit.

If anyone is interested we would like you to send us an e-mail to baloghzsombor94@gmail.com with some of your art works and a small bio about you.

    Best Regards,
