I have dabbled in game development for many years.

Whilst in college i produced a few DOS games, notably Kill The Teletubbies, an operation wolf style shooter, and Dragonfly, an R-Type style sideways scrolling shoot-em-up. Some games i started and did not finish, such as Galactic War.

During this time i created many tools which were used in development of these games.

In more modern times I have created a large online web based roleplaying game called Seven Spells Of Destruction and dabbled in creation of a 2.5D isometric roleplaying game called Judgement Call. I am currently working on two games, the first of these is Firework Factory which i am currently rewriting as a 3D game under Unreal Engine 4:

The second of these games being a modern 3D remake of The Seven Spells Of Destruction as an open world RPG also in Unreal Engine 4:

Outside of game development, I was and still am highly active on IRC and within the IRC open source community, as the creator of InspIRCd, WinBot (the IRC bot, not the starcraft cheating bot!), IRC Defender and Botnix as well as being a Network Administrator of the ChatSpike IRC network.

I am a business software developer and IT manager by day, and a proud dad to several kids, spending what free time i have creating my games.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me!

Indie Gamer also provides a friendly place to meet up with other Developers, Artists, Composers and Writers.
  • Buy us a beer!

Indie Gamer is delicately held together by a single poor bastard who thankfully gets help from various community volunteers. If you frequent this site or have found value in something you've learned here, help keep the site running by donating a few dollars (for beer of course)!
